Dining Made Easy

All students living on campus are required to have a resident meal plan. Whether you prefer unlimited access to Peregrine Dining Hall or want flexibility across 10+ retail locations, we have a plan that works for you.

Meal plans include Dining Dollars (tax-free funds on your ID card), Hugo-Fixe Meals (meal exchanges at retail locations), and guest passes to share your dining experience.

Resident Meal Plans

Required for all on-campus students

Carte Blanche Plan

$2,880/semester

Recommended for first-year students, athletes, and students with special dietary needs.

  • Unlimited meal swipes at Peregrine Dining Hall
  • $400 Dining Dollars per semester
  • 50 Hugo-Fixe Meals at retail locations
  • 3 guest passes per semester
  • Come and go as often as you want

Required for students with less than 30 credits

105/60 Plan

$2,880/semester

Perfect balance of dining hall and retail flexibility.

  • 105 meal swipes at Peregrine Dining Hall
  • $1,000 Dining Dollars per semester
  • 60 Hugo-Fixe Meals at retail locations
  • 3 guest passes per semester
  • Mix of structured meals and on-the-go options

Default plan for students with more than 30 credits

Flex 50 Plan

$2,880/semester

Maximum flexibility for upperclassmen on the go.

  • $1,550 Dining Dollars per semester
  • 50 Hugo-Fixe Meals at retail locations
  • 3 guest passes per semester
  • Use kitchenettes in residence halls
  • Access to all dining locations

Recommended for upperclassmen with access to kitchenettes

Faculty & Staff Options

Meal Plans are currently not offered to Faculty and Staff. You can purchase a declining balance plan: Add $100, get a $10 bonus. Add $200, get a $25 bonus.

What are Hugo-Fixe Meals?

Hugo-Fixe Meals are meal exchanges that you can use at select retail destinations on campus. Look for menu items labeled "Hugo-Fixe Meals" in the GrubHub app. These meals are accepted at all retail destinations except Starbucks and can also be used at Peregrine Dining Hall. Note: Hugo-Fixe Meals do not rollover from semester to semester.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are sales tax-free funds conveniently loaded to your SUNY New Paltz ID Card. These funds may be used at any campus dining location and via the Grubhub app.

Receive Bonus Dining Dollars! Dining Dollars may be added at any time in any installment of $25. Get a $10 bonus when you add $100. Get a $25 bonus when you add $200.

  • Add at Campus Card Services in Peregrine Dining Hall
  • Call 845-257-3034 to add funds
  • Unused fall dining dollars roll over to spring provided that a spring meal plan is opened
  • Expire at end of spring semester

Atrium Brew

Coffee, specialty drinks, and grab-and-go options in the Student Union.

Hissho Sushi

Fresh sushi, poke bowls, and Asian-inspired cuisine made daily.

WOW (Wings on Wheels)

Chicken wings, tenders, fries, and comfort food favorites.

Pomodoro's

Pizza, pasta, and Italian specialties made to order.
