Campus Meal Plans

The Carte Blanche Plan  – $2,795 per semester

The Carte Blanche Plan offers unlimited meal swipes at Peregrine Dining Hall. Come and go when you want, as often as you want and eat as much as you want. This plan also includes $400 Dining Dollars per semester, 3 guest passes, and *50 meal exchanges in retail dining locations per semester. All students with less than 30 credits will be required to be on this plan.

The 105/60 – $2,795 per semester

This plan offers the student 105 meal swipes per semester into Peregrine Dining Hall, $1,000 Dining Dollars and 3 guest passes per semester. To add flexibility, you get an additional 60 meal exchanges that can be used at our retail locations on campus.

 *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester

The Flex 50  – $2,795

This new plan offers ultimate flexibility. The student will get $ 1,550 Dining dollars to be used at any dining location on campus, including our C-store the Roost. Plus, you will receive 50 meal exchanges to be used at our retail locations, and 3 guest meals per semester.

 *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester

Voluntary Meal Plans (Off Campus Students ONLY)

These plans are ideal for commuter students or faculty and staff who want to grab a quick bite to eat between classes.

10 Block Plan:  $99

  • 10 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges.

    *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester and cannot be used at Starbucks.

10 Block Plan with $100 Dining Dollars: $199

  • 10 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges.
  • $100 in Dining Dollars.

25 Block Plan: $249

  • 25 meal swipes can be used in Peregrine Dining Hall or as meal exchanges.

    *Please note: Meal exchanges do not rollover from semester to semester and cannot be used at Starbucks.

Dining Dollars Plan A: $100

  • $110 in Dining Dollars added to account.

Dining Dollars Plan B: $200

  • $225 in Dining Dollars added to account.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars are sales tax free funds that are conveniently loaded to your SUNY New Paltz ID Card. These funds may be used at any campus dining location via the Grub Hub app.

 Deposit Dining Dollars at any time and receive bonuses absolutely free! Dining Dollars may be added at any time in any installment of $25. A $10 bonus is included for adding $100 or a $25 bonus is included for adding $200. Visit Campus Auxiliary Services on the first floor of Peregrine Dining Hall or call 845-257-3034 to add dining dollars today

Please Note: Unused dining dollars from the Fall Semester will roll over to the Spring Semester provided there is a meal plan purchased for the Spring Semester. Any unspent dining dollars at the end of the Spring semester will be forfeited.

Meal Exchanges

A meal exchange included with a meal plan allows students to exchange a meal swipe for a select meal option at retail dining locations. Retail dining locations which accept meal exchanges are the Student Union Building, Element 93 and Sweets & Treats Bakery. Look for the meal exchange options on the “board menu” in the GrubHub App at participating campus dining locations!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  How do I change my meal plan?
A.   If you need to change your meal plan, you can change to another plan online through my.newpaltz.edu. Under the Money tab, go to ‘My Student Account’, select ‘Change My Meal Plan’, and choose the plan for you.
PLEASE NOTE: You will only be allowed to change your meal plan ONE TIME during each semester. The deadline to change your meal plan for Fall 24
is Friday September 6th
Q. Do my dining dollars rollover from the Fall semester?
A. Unused dining dollars from the Fall Semester will roll over to the Spring Semester provided there is a meal plan purchased for the Spring Semester. Any unspent dining dollars at the end of the Spring semester will be forfeited.
Q. Can I request a refund of my unused Dining Dollars?
A. Because Dining Dollars are free of sales tax they are not eligable for refunds. Please be sure to use all funds before the end of the Spring semester.
Q. How do I sign up for Grubhub?
A. 
Download the Grubhub app on your mobile device and create a new account (or sign in if you already have a Grubhub account). Once you are signed in, add New Paltz as your campus by visiting “Settings” within your “Account” menu. Select “Campus Dining” and search for “SUNY College at New Paltz” to add as an affiliation. You should now be able to view on-campus dining locations within your Grubhub account.
To add your campus ID card and connect your meal plan as a payment method, visit “Settings” within your “Account” menu. Select Payment > Add new payment > ID Card and enter your credentials
